UGC NET Law (058) Comparative Public Law and Systems of Governance: Detailed Study Notes

Unit X is a comparison unit, and examiners love contrasts: India versus the USA, the UK versus the USA, Switzerland versus France. The ten topics cover comparative method, forms of government, federalism, rule of law, separation of powers, the judiciary, constitutional review, amendment, the Ombudsman and open government. Each topic ends with a Memory Capsule of exam traps, and Topic 11 collects question patterns, a one-page cheat sheet of names and numbers, common mistakes and a revision plan.
